These selected images of a total of 42 serve as a visual screenplay in preparation for a short film in four scenes that examines the relationships between three characters: M. (the male character), W. (the female character) and A. (an androgynous character).

Poise is a series of digital prints layered on as many as three overlapped, translucent pages. On some pages the image/text is printed on both the front and verso of that page, building up to six layers of the image.

The pages are held together at their top edge by white metal fasteners.
