The political landscape continually challenges the ideas of a republic; at times threatening its erasure. From Abu Ghraib to Trump Tower we can see the descent from a secure republic to a morass of ideological debris, collected in dark tanks. This cycle of images, begun during the election of 2004, will continue — at least — through the current regime.

These collaged images assemble text and visual fragments found in the news, online resources, model-making parts and figures, discarded/found materials, and conventional art materials.

Each page is the size of an accountant’s ledger and some are perforated with two holes to suggest its eventual incorporation into such an accounting.
